The Nobles County Library offers library service to residents of rural Nobles County using the Heartland Express as a delivery vehicle. Residents may call the Nobles County Library and request books, magazines, books on cassette or CD, puppets, and videos. These requested materials will be sent to your town once a week on the Heartland Express. You may return your materials to the drop off site or to a nearby public library. To have materials delivered to your town:

Ask for Outreach service. (If you fax or E-Mail us, please include your name, address, phone number, and your request) You may request books by author, title, subject, or category (i.e., westerns, romances, large print, etc.); magazines, puppets, books on cassette, videos, best sellers.

Your items will be delivered to you ONCE a week by Heartland Express. You may pick up your materials, on a self-serve basis, and return them anytime during regular business hours at your drop off site.

Books are borrowed for 3 weeks; interlibrary loan for 2 weeks; magazines, videos, puppets, books on cassette, and bestsellers for 1 week. There will be fines of $2.00 per day on overdue videos.
Call the library to renew your borrowed material before it is overdue to avoid the fines.
