  Getting a Library Card

  Print off our online application form and bring it in to pick up your card, or come in   person!

  Photo ID and proof of current address necessary.

  These could be a MN driver's license, MN State ID; employer's ID, plus anything   that shows your present address.

  Library cards are free. Replacement for lost cards is  $3.

   Loan Period
  You may borrow most materials for 3 weeks except:

  Videos/DVD's    1 week, with a 2 day renewal
  Magazines-      1 week, current issues stay in library
  Puppets-         1 week

Renewals
Most Library material may be renewed. Renewals may be done in person or by phone or through our Renewal Page.

Renewal Limits
If another patron has requested the title, you may not renew the item.
You will not be able to renew material if you have more than a $5.00 fine from another Plum Creek library on your card, or more than five items overdue. Material borrowed from other libraries in the Plum Creek Library System may be renewed.

Reserves
All material may be reserved free of charge.

Returned Material
An after hour book return is open at each library for the convenient return of books whenever the library is closed.

Fines
Videos are $3.00 per day per video
Inter library loan books $1.00 per day

There are no fines on Nobles County Library materials; however, if materials are not returned on time, they are assumed to be lost and the borrower is billed.

*If material becomes substantially overdue, it is assumed to be lost and a bill is sent.

Additional Services
Internet Access-             Free. Reserve ahead of time. Copies cost .25 per page.
Microfilm reader/printer-  .25 
FAX Services -               $5.00 for the first 1-5 pages and an additional $1.00 + tax per page after 5 pages; $1.00                                         + tax per page to receive.
                                   Africa and Asia : $5.00 + tax for the 1st page - $3.00 + tax for each additional page to                                             send; $1.00 + tax per page to receive.

Photocopying
$.25 per page.

PROJECTORS: $8.00 + tax per day.
SCREENS: $5.00 + tax per day.

Data Privacy- By Minnesota law, the following information is private:

*Information which links your name with Library materials.

*The address, telephone, and birth-date information you gave us when you registered for a library card. It is available only to you and to appropriate library staff in support of library service.
