at 4:00 p.m. on Monday July 3rd.
Both libraries (Adrian & Worthington) will be closed on Tuesday, July 4th in observance of Independence Day.

 

 

Summer Reading Programs for Youth – Worthington

  • The Summer Reading Programs go through the beginning of August. 
  • Please stop by the library or call 507-295-5340 to sign up your kids.
  • Schedule:
    • Tuesday, July 4th:  Library Closed for Independence Day
    • Wednesday, July 5thStory Time (Preschool – Kindergarten) – from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.
    • Wednesday, July 5th:  Grades 1st-3rd – from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m.
    • Thursday, July 6thGrades 4th and 5th – from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m.
  • You are responsible for your own ride to and from the library.

  • Nobles County Art Center:
    • Open House:  Creature Feature (by Kelly Henkels)
      • Sunday, July 9th from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m.
      • Check out the artwork, create your own creatures and enjoy a light snack!
      • All ages welcome. 
    • Artists:  The Annual Area Art Show is now done – please pick up your artwork during the first week of July!  (closed July 4th)
    • Art Club – if you’re interested in joining the Art Club, we meet the 4th Monday of every month at 5:30 p.m.
      • There is no cost to join – all are welcome!
    • The Art Center is located in the basement of the Nobles County Library.
      • Hours:  Monday-Friday, 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
      • During Farmer’s Market season (June through October), the Art Center will have a booth downtown and will be closing at 3:00 p.m. every Tuesday.
