Our virtual patron training is a 1.5 hour block broken up into three parts:

• 10:00 – Getting Started (approx. 35 min.) – We cover downloading Libby, getting signed in, then key features and navigation (searching for titles, borrowing/placing holds, adjusting reading settings, audiobook features, and setting notification preferences) of the Libby app.

• 10:35 – Open Office (approx. 10 min.) – During this time, we answer any questions from attendees and test attendees’ knowledge on what we just covered in Getting Started.

• 10:45 – Tips & Tricks (approx.. 30 min.) – During this session, we take a deep dive into 4 of our favorite features of Libby (5 if your library uses Magazines). Following these tricks, we’ll use the remaining 15 minutes to answer and demo any questions that have come through live on screen.
