Summer Reading Programs for Youth – Worthington

  • The Summer Reading Programs go through the beginning of August. 
  • Please stop by the library or call 507-295-5340 to sign up your kids.

    • Tuesday, July 25thTeens (Grades 6-12) – from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
    • Wednesday, July 26thStory Time (Preschoolers & Kindergartners) – from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
    • Wednesday, July 26thNaturalist Program with DNR Tiffany – all ages welcome!
    • Thursday, July 27thGrades 4th and 5th – from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m.
  • You are responsible for your own ride to and from the library.

  • Story Time – Come listen to stories, sing songs and learn rhymes that spark a love of reading!  No need to register.
    • Every Wednesday in June, July and August
    • From 12:10 – 12:50 p.m.
  • Arts & Activities – There will be a variety of crafts and games for all ages throughout the summer.  Please register by calling 507-483-2541 or e-mail adrianlib@co.nobles.mn.us

Other Happenings in the Library – Worthington

  • Nobles County Art Center:
    • Art Show:  Creature Feature (by Kelly Henkels)
      • Showing through September 6th.
    • Art Club – if you’re interested in joining the Art Club, we meet the 4th Monday of every month at 5:30 p.m.
      • There is no cost to join – all are welcome!
    • The Art Center is located in the basement of the Nobles County Library.
      • Hours:  Monday-Friday, 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
      • During Farmer’s Market season (June through October), the Art Center will have a booth downtown and will be closing at 3:00 p.m. every Tuesday.
