Summer Reading Programs for Youth – Adrian

  • Summer Reading Programs – last day of programs will be Wednesday, August 30th.
  • Wednesdays:
    • Story Time:  12:10 to 12:50 p.m. (no need to register)
    • Arts & Activities:  1:00 to 2:15 p.m. (please register by calling 507-483-2541 or e-mailing adrianlib@co.nobles.mn.us
  • Don’t forget to record your reading in your Summer Log!  All events are free and open to the public.

 

Adult Programs – Worthington

  • Wednesday, August 16th:  AARP – Online Fraud & Cyber Crimes at 10:00 a.m. (over Zoom) – please register in advance!

  • Nobles County Art Center:
    • Art Show:  Creature Feature (by Kelly Henkels)
      • Showing through September 6th.
    • Art Club – 4th Monday of every month at 5:30 p.m.
      • There is no cost to join – all are welcome!
    • The Art Center is located in the basement of the Nobles County Library.
      • Hours:  Monday-Friday, 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. (Tuesdays: 12 – 3 p.m. through October)

      • Monday, August 28th at 6:00 p.m. – we will be discussing the book, “The Personal Librarian” by Marie Benedict.  All are welcome!

 

Did You Know?

  • The Nobles County Library (Worthington) is doing a State Park Pass Contest!  Once you’ve checked out a pass, fill out the waiver/entry form that’s available at the library.  Take a photo of you or your group holding the State Park Pass at one of Minnesota’s State Parks and submit it back to the library.  Three winners will be chosen through a random drawing.  Please participate in our contest and submit your entry by Friday, September 8th!
