  • Wednesday, August 9th:  Summer Reading Carnival – from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.

Summer Reading Programs for Youth – Adrian

  • Summer Reading Programs – last day of programs will be Wednesday, August 30th.
  • Wednesdays:
    • Story Time:  12:10 to 12:50 p.m. (no need to register)
    • Arts & Activities:  1:00 to 2:15 p.m. (please register by calling 507-483-2541 or e-mailing
  • Don’t forget to record your reading in your Summer Log!  All events are free and open to the public.


Adult Programs – Worthington

  • Wednesday, August 9th:  Creative Writing Workshop from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. – please register in advance as space is limited!
  • Wednesday, August 16th:  AARP – Online Fraud & Cyber Crimes at 10:00 a.m. (over Zoom) – please register in advance!

  • Nobles County Art Center:
    • Art Show:  Creature Feature (by Kelly Henkels)
      • Showing through September 6th.
    • Art Club – 4th Monday of every month at 5:30 p.m.
      • There is no cost to join – all are welcome!
    • The Art Center is located in the basement of the Nobles County Library.
      • Hours:  Monday-Friday, 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. (Tuesdays: 12 – 3 p.m. through October)

  • So far this year, the Nobles County Library has had over 700 MNLINK requests fulfilled!  MNLINK is where we get library materials that are available from outside of our Plum Creek region for our patrons.
