Adult Programs – Worthington

  • Jewelry Making Class with Myra – Wednesday, December 21st at 5:30 p.m. (for ages 16+)
    • Please join us for a fun night of making your own jewelry!
    • Choose your three pieces and with Myra’s guidance, you’ll get to design and create exactly what you want.
    • This class is free of charge.

 

Youth Programs – Worthington

  • Please stop by the library or call 507-295-5340 to sign up your children. 
    • Monday, December 12th:  Wii (Grades 5-9) – after school until 4:45 p.m.
    • Tuesday, December 13th:  After-School Program (Grades K-5) – after school until 4:45 p.m.
    • Wednesday, December 14th:  Story Time (Toddlers – Preschoolers) – from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
              • Just Gurlz (Girls Grades 5-9) after school until 4:45 p.m.
    • Thursday, December 15th:  After-School Program (Grades K-5) – after school until 4:45 p.m.
    • Monday, December 19th:  Wii (Grades 5-9) – after school until 4:45 p.m.
    • Tuesday, December 20th:  After-School Program (Grades K-5) – after school until 4:45 p.m.
    • You are responsible for your own ride to and from the library.

  • New Books Donated by the Worthington Garden Club:  “Succulents: Everything You Need to Select, Pair and Care for Succulents”, “Striking Succulent Gardens”, “Succulents for Beginners” and “Hardy Succulents”.  Thank you, Worthington Garden Club!
  • New Large Print Books for Adults:  “The Whittiers” by Danielle Steel
  • New Books for Children:  “Big Nate: Prank You Very Much”, “Galaxy Zack: Game Over, Nebulon” and “Walt Disney’s Donald Duck: Duck Luck”
  • New Display: “A Vintage Christmas” display, on loan from Sally Zuehlke, will be on display in the front lobby of the library for the month of December.
  • Fun Fact of the Week:  So far this year at the Worthington library, the top five most-circulated DVDs are:  “Yellowstone”, “Ghostbusters”, “Spider-Man”, “Jungle Cruise” and “King Richard”.
