Library News for the Week of December 18, 2023

Holiday Closings in December:

  • The Worthington and Adrian libraries will be closed Saturday, December 23rd and Monday, December 25th in observance of Christmas.
  • The Worthington and Adrian libraries will be closed on Saturday, December 30th and Monday, January 1st in observance of New Year’s.

 

Happening at the Worthington Library for Youth:

  • After School Programs:
    • Mondays (grades 4-9):  Wii from after school until 4:45 p.m.
    • Tuesdays (grades K-5):  Kids Club from after school until 4:45 p.m.
    • Wednesdays (toddlers-preschoolers):  Story Time from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.
    • Wednesdays (girls grades 5-9):  Just Gurlz from after school until 4:45 p.m.
    • Thursdays (grades K-5):  Kids Club from after school until 4:45 p.m.
  • Please call the library at 507-295-5340 to sign your children up.  You are responsible for your own ride to and from the library; please have your children picked up by 5:00 p.m.

 

Special Upcoming Event – Worthington

  • New Year’s Eve Parties – it’s time to ring in the New Year for grades K-6!
  • Please pre-register for a party time by calling the library at 507-295-5340 – space is limited!
    • Wednesday, December 27th:  10 a.m. – 12 p.m. OR 1 p.m. – 3 p.m.

Nobles County Art Center:

  • Art Show Information:  The annual Holiday Show & Sale has begun and ends December 22nd!
  • Art Club meets the fourth Monday of every month at 5:30 p.m. – there is no cost to join and all are welcome!  Go to our Facebook page to see past Art Club projects.
