Summer Reading Programs for Youth – Worthington

  • The Summer Reading Programs begin this week and go through the beginning of August. 
  • Please stop by the library or call 507-295-5340 to sign up your kids.
  • Schedule:
    • Tuesday, June 13th:  Teens (grades 6-12) – from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
    • Wednesday, June 14th:  ** Special Program ** – Reading Rabbits at 10:00 a.m. for all ages!
    • Wednesday, June 14th:  Grades 1st-3rd – from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m.
    • Thursday, June 15th:  ** Special Program **  – Ralph Covert at 1:00 p.m. for all ages!
  • You are responsible for your own ride to and from the library.

Summer Reading Programs for Youth – Adrian

  • Summer Reading Programs – Wednesdays through August!
  • Wednesday, June 14th:  Reading Rabbits – 12:30 p.m. for all ages!
    • Books and bunnies!  Take advantage of this unique opportunity to interact with rabbits while learning about them with Allysa, from J.K. Pasture Farm by Morgan, MN.
    • No Story Time or Arts & Activities today – these programs will resume next week.
  • Don’t forget to record your reading in your Summer Log!  All events are free and open to the public.

Other Happenings in the Library – Worthington

  • Nobles County Art Center:
    • Now Showing:  Annual Area Art Show
      • This show opened on April 2nd and is on display until June 30th.
    • Art Club – if you’re interested in joining the Art Club, we meet the 4th Tuesday of every month at 5:30 p.m.
      • There is no cost to join – all are welcome!
    • The Art Center is located in the basement of the Nobles County Library.
