Happening at the Adrian Library:

  • Summer Reading Programs:
    • Teens:
      • Tuesday, June 4th:  Friendship Bracelets – learn how to make bracelets by knotting embroidery floss
      • Tuesday, June 25th:  Book Club – we’ll discuss “Scythe” by Neal Shusterman
    • Wednesday Afternoon Adventures:
      • Story Time from 12:10 – 12:50 p.m. (no need to register)
      • Crafts and Games from 1:00-2:00 p.m. (Please pre-register for this program!)
    • Special Upcoming Event:  Wednesday, June 12th at 1:30 p.m. – Jedi Adventures with Tobi KID at the Adrian Elementary School Commons (no regular programming on this Wednesday)

Happening at the Worthington Library for Adults:

  • Monday, June 3rd:  Friends of the Library Book Club at 6:00 p.m.  We will be discussing the book, “The First Ladies” by Marie Benedict and Victoria Christopher Murray.  All are welcome!
  • Tuesday, June 4th: Yoga with Melissa Ahlschlager – on the library lawn – 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. (ages 12+ with an adult and 16+ without)
  • Tuesday, June 4th:  Board Game Night – bring your own games or share ours – 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. (ages 18+)
  • Tuesday, June 11th:  Chair Yoga with Melissa Ahlschlager – join us at Ecumen Meadows – 11:00 to 11:45 a.m. (ages 12+ with an adult and 16+ without)
  • Tuesday, June 25th:  Mosaic Flower Pots with SammyJo Miller – sign up to create your own pot – 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. (ages 12+ with an adult and 16+ without)

Happening at the Worthington Library for Youth:

  • Summer Reading Programs begin the week of June 10th!  Children must be registered for these programs.
    • Tuesdays:  Teens (grades 6-12) from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
    • Wednesday Mornings:  Story Time (ages Preschool – Kindergarten) – 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.
    • Wednesday afternoons:  1st-3rd Grade – 1:00 to 2:30 p.m.
    • Thursdays:  4th & 5th Grade – 1:00 to 2:30 p.m.

Nobles County Art Center:

  • Now Showing: 64th Annual Area Art Show is on display until June 28th.  Come view local artist’s work!
  • Art Club will not meet in May, due to the Memorial Day holiday.  Join us Monday, June 24th at 5:30 p.m. – the theme will be “stars”.
  • Summer Project:  If you missed the last Art Club Meeting, stop in the Art Center to pick up a ‘giant’ book for this project, which is called “Book Art”.
