Library News for the Week of November 27, 2023

Happening at the Worthington Library for Adults:

  • Thursday, December 14th – Board Game Night – join us from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., bring your own games or play ours.  Ages 18+ please.
  • Friends of the Library Book Club will meet Monday, December 11th at 6:00 p.m. – we will be discussing the book, “Killers of the Flower Moon” by David Grann.  All are welcome!


Happening at the Worthington Library for Youth:

  • After School Programs:
    • Mondays (grades 4-9):  Wii from after school until 4:45 p.m.
    • Tuesdays (grades K-5):  Kids Club from after school until 4:45 p.m.
    • Wednesdays (toddlers-preschoolers):  Story Time from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.
    • Wednesdays (girls grades 5-9):  Just Gurlz from after school until 4:45 p.m.
    • Thursdays (grades K-5):  Kids Club from after school until 4:45 p.m.
  • Please call the library at 507-295-5340 to sign your children up.  You are responsible for your own ride to and from the library; please have your children picked up by 5:00 p.m.


Happening at the Adrian Library:

  • Watercolor Christmas, with McKenzie Mulder – Saturday, December 2nd from 10:30 to 12:00 p.m.  Come learn the basics of watercolor painting and then create four Christmas cards to take home!  Please call the library at 507-483-2541 or e-mail to register for this program.  (ages 13 and older please)

Nobles County Art Center:

  • Art Show Information:  The annual Holiday Show & Sale has begun and ends December 22nd!  Open during regular business hours, as well as Saturday, December 2nd, 9th and 16th from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
  • Art Club meets the fourth Monday of every month at 5:30 p.m. – there is no cost to join and all are welcome!  Go to our Facebook page to see past Art Club projects.
  • The Art Center is located in the lower level of the Nobles County Library.  Hours are Monday-Friday, 12:00 to 4:00 p.m.  Contact us at 507-372-8245 or
