**  Halloween Haunted House – Worthington  **

  • Thursday, October 21st and Friday, October 22nd for grades K-5! 
    • Wear your Halloween costume and join us for a movie, craft, games and a haunted house tour at the Worthington library.
  • Please stop by the library or call 507-295-5340 to pre-register for ONE of the parties on or before October 20th, as space is limited.
    • Thursday, October 21st:  10 – 11:30 a.m., 12 – 1:30 p.m. or 2 – 3:30 p.m.
    • Friday, October 22nd:  12 – 1:30 p.m. or 2 – 3:30 p.m.

**  After-School Programs – Worthington  **

  • Please stop by the library or call 507-295-5340 to sign up your children.
    • Monday, October 18th:  Wii U (Grades 5-9) – after school until 4:45 p.m.
    • Tuesday, October 19th:  After-School Program (Grades K-5) – after school until 4:45 p.m.
    • Wednesday, October 20th:  Story Time (Toddlers – Preschoolers) – from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
    • Thursday, October 21st:  Halloween Haunted House (Grades K-5 – pre-register!)
    • Friday, October 22nd:  Halloween Haunted House (Grades K-5 – pre-register!)
    • Monday, October 25th:  Just Gurlz (Girls Grades 5-9) – after school until 4:45 p.m.
    • Tuesday, October 26th:  After-School Program (Grades K-5) – after school until 4:45 p.m.
  • You are responsible for your own ride to and from the library.  Please have your children picked up by 5:00 p.m.

    • 1:00 p.m. at the Adrian Senior Citizens Center (310 N. Maine Ave.)
    • 4:00 p.m. for kids at First Lutheran Church  (across from the Worthington library)
  • November 18th: Winter Skies Star Party – with Mike Lynch & Paul Seifert
    • 5:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the Minnesota West Community and Technical College, NW corner of the parking lot next to the observatory (1450 College Way, Worthington)

**  Screen-Free Saturdays in Adrian  **

  • Every Saturday from October 9th – May 21st(excluding holiday weekends)
    • For students Kindergarten through 8th Get out of the house and come play games from 10:30 a.m. until noon at the library!  Bring your favorite board game or play one of ours.

 

**  Fall Book Sale – Worthington  **

  • Our Fall Book Sale will be November 1st – 6th , during regular business hours on the main level of the library!
    • There usually is a variety of adult fiction books, adult science fiction books, adult non-fiction books, young adult books, paperback books, children’s books, audiobooks, CDs and DVDs.
    • Watch for the bag sale at the end of the week!
  • Our book sales are open to the public – not restricted only to library card users.

 

**  Science Fiction/Fantasy Monthly Book Club – Worthington  **

  • Calling all Science Fiction and Fantasy Readers!  Join us the second Wednesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in the library.
    • We’ll discuss how each of our books connects to the theme of the month and what we liked/disliked about the book.
