Library News for the Week of October 4, 2021
** Halloween Haunted House **
- Thursday, October 21st and Friday, October 22nd for grades K-5!
- Wear your Halloween costume and join us for a movie, craft, games and a haunted house tour at the Worthington library.
- Please register for ONE of the parties on or before October 20th, as space is limited. Please stop by the library or call 507-295-5340.
- Thursday, October 21st: 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m., 12:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. or 2:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
- Friday, October 22nd: 12:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. or 2:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
** Fall Book Sale – Worthington **
- Our Fall Book Sale will be November 1st – 6th , during regular business hours on the main level of the library!
- There usually is a variety of adult fiction books, adult science fiction books, adult non-fiction books, young adult books, paperback books, children’s books, audiobooks, CDs and DVDs.
- Watch for the bag sale at the end of the week!
- Our book sales are open to the public – not restricted only to library card users.
** New Science Fiction/Fantasy Monthly Book Club **
- Calling all Science Fiction and Fantasy Readers – the Nobles County Library is starting a new monthly book club! We will tentatively meet the second Wednesday of each month at 6 p.m. in the library. During the meeting, we’ll discuss how each of our books connects to the theme of the month and what we liked/disliked about the book. Come connect and meet new people!

- Monday, October 4th: No program.
- Tuesday, October 5th: After-School Program (Grades K-5) – after school until 4:45 p.m.
- Wednesday, October 6th: Story Time (Toddlers – Preschoolers) – from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
- Thursday, October 7th: After-School Program (Grades K-5) – after school until 4:45 p.m.
- Friday, October 8th: Wii U (Grades 5-9) – after school until 4:45 p.m.
- Monday, October 11th: Just Gurlz (Girls Grades 5-9) – after school until 4:45 p.m.
- Tuesday, October 12th: After-School Program (Grades K-5) – after school until 4:45 p.m.
- You are responsible for your own ride to and from the library. Please have your children picked up by 5 p.m.

- 5:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the Minnesota West Community and Technical College, NW corner of the parking lot next to the observatory (1450 College Way, Worthington)
