After School Programs for Youth – Worthington

  • After School Programs begin THIS week!
  • Please call the library at 507-295-5340 to sign your children up.
    • Mondays (grades 5-9):  Wii from after school until 4:45 p.m.
    • Tuesdays (grades K-5):  After School Program from after school until 4:45 p.m.
    • Wednesdays (toddlers-preschoolers):  Story Time from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.
    • Wednesdays (girls grades 5-9):  Just Gurlz from after school until 4:45 p.m.
    • Thursdays (grades K-5):  After School Program from after school until 4:45 p.m.
  • You are responsible for your own ride to and from the library.
  • Please have your children picked up by 5:00 p.m.

 

Adult Programs – Worthington

  • Tuesday, September 19th – Paint Party with SammyJo Miller from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.  Pre-registration is required!
  • Wednesday, September 20th – “Prairie Songs:  Sing along with Laura Ingalls Wilder” from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m.

 

Other Happenings in the Library – Worthington

  • Nobles County Art Center:
    • Art Show:
      • “Homestead Photography”, by Magnolia, Minnesota native, Sarah Sampedro
      • Artist’s reception and public open house on Sunday, September 10th from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.
      • Show will be featured through Friday, October 27th
    • Art Club – 4th Monday of every month at 5:30 p.m.
      • There is no cost to join – all are welcome!
    • The Art Center is located in the lower level of the Nobles County Library.
      • Hours:  Monday-Friday, 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. (Tuesdays: 12 – 3 p.m. through October)
